Privacy Policy
KeyMart Pro is billing and shop-management software for supermarkets and grocery stores: the website keymartpro.com and the KeyMart Pro Android app. It is made by Keycode Technology Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we hold, why, who can see it, and how you can have it deleted.

1. Who this applies to
- Shop owners who register an account and run one or more marts.
- Staff whose sign-in the owner creates.
- The shop’s customers and suppliers, whose details the shop records in its own books. For that data the shop is in charge of it; we store and process it for the shop.
- Visitors to keymartpro.com, including anybody who sends the contact form.
2. What we collect

3. The Android app
- The app talks only to our server, martkeyapi.keymartpro.com, always over encrypted HTTPS.
- Camera: used only when you choose to scan a barcode. The picture is read on the phone to get the barcode number; photos are not saved or sent anywhere.
- The phone keeps your sign-in token and your chosen mart so you stay signed in. Signing out removes them. App backups to Google are switched off.
- The app does not read your contacts, location, files, microphone or other apps, and contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking libraries.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or your shop’s data to anybody.
- We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not look at a shop’s business records except when the owner asks us for help, or when needed to keep the service running or to meet the law.
5. Who can see your data
- You and the people you allow: each owner’s data is kept in its own separate database. Staff see only the modules their role allows.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers and databases for us under contract and may not use the data for itself.
- Authorities, only when Indian law requires it.
6. How we protect it
- All traffic to the website and the app’s server is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes.
- Each owner’s shop data is in a separate database; every request is checked against the signed-in person and their rights.
- Access to the servers is limited to the people who run the service.
7. How long we keep it
- While your account is open, we keep your data so the service works.
- When you ask for your account to be deleted, we delete it within 30 days — the account, its marts, staff and all business records.
- Bills and GST records are the shop’s legal records; Indian GST law asks businesses to keep them for several years. Before deletion you can ask us for a copy, and keeping it is then your responsibility.
- Error logs are kept only as long as they are needed to find and fix faults, and are deleted with your account.
8. Deleting your account and data
You can ask for your account and all its data to be deleted at any time, without signing in and without the app: use the Delete account page or email keycodetechnology@gmail.com from the email you signed up with. We confirm the request with you before deleting, so nobody can delete your shop by typing your email.
Staff: ask the owner of your mart, who can remove your sign-in. Customers of a shop: ask that shop, or write to us and we will pass it on.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it you can view and correct yourself on the website. For anything else write to keycodetechnology@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.
10. Children
KeyMart Pro is a business tool for shop owners and their staff. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we update this page and the date at the top.
